Description This beautiful quilt is handstitched by textile artisans in India. It is reversible with the print on one side and a plain layer on the other which showcases the the kantha stitching. Kantha originated in Bangladesh, and refers to the embroidery technique whereby layers of textiles were stitched together with a simple running stitch. As this item has been completely hand hewn, it may have slight irregularities which add to its unique character. These are not defects. Size: 230 x 265 cm approximately.
