Worked sideways, Accretion makes effective use of short rows and stripes to create a striking arched pattern. Worked in DK weight yarn the pattern comes in 4 sizes, and can easily be adjusted for a further range of sizes by changing needle size, gauge or yarn. Two different Hat styles & brim options are included – beanie & bonnet. Hat Description Accretion is a sideways knit Hat with a fitted crown. The brim is worked vertically downwards, and is either fitted for a beanie finished, or split and tapered for a bonnet style. It uses short row colourwork to create a nested arched motif within one panel, which is then repeated all around the Hat. It’s worked in garter stitch throughout.
