This connection enriches my modern, interpretive art style. In “Old Man Emu”, I play with patterns from Western Australia’s wild nature, using simple shapes to capture the intricate emu feathers and the tenacity of grass trees.” Helen Ansell Tourists and locals alike are captivated by emus and their chicks.
